If I were a more organized, normal marketing-sales professional, I'd've planned this months ago. But, I didn't. There's a reason for that. Besides, sometimes spontaneity can work in your favor.
I have always been very nervous in front of a camera. There aren't that many photos of me throughout my life. When we lived in New York, my son was one of those kids going on auditions every day after school and booking gigs to appear in commercials. His managers thought it would be a great idea for me to audition ... just to experience what Justin experienced every day. I literally broke out in hives!
Last year, I participated in a 30-day challenge to make a personal video and post it to a private Facebook group every day. It was terrifying but I did it to confront that fear. This year when our lives went online via Zoom, there was no hiding and it's become easier. Easier, not yet easy.
So, why not do another challenge, I asked myself! Post a 60-90 second candid video, un-edited, one take to prepare for 2021 and a fresh beginning.
Beginning December 15 through January 1.
The topics range broadly across online marketing, sales, and customer success topics. Because this is a very spontaneous project, I created the list in a solo brainstorming burst in about 45 minutes last weekend, drawing upon my 20 years' experience selling SaaS solutions, starting with email marketing.
The few people who've reviewed the program list think it's going to be an entertaining, informative series. I hope you'll subscribe to get a short daily notice of when the video is posted and if you agree, tell your friends and colleagues!
